Principals:

Dr. Rosaline Vasquez, MD, MBA

Dr. Vasquez's clients gain from both her top-level business and medical expertise. Executive roles in businesses include being part of the senior management team of SKOLAR Inc., a medical technology start-up company, Vice President and Medical Director of CIGNA Healthcare of Northern California and Director of New Product Planning and Health care Reimbursement Planning at the pharmaceutical company Syntex. Through her consulting work she has worked with hospital systems, technology vendors and providers and has delved deeply into the technological and organizational challenges of medical technology aimed at improving quality and patient safety. She continues to practice and teach Internal Medicine as Adjunct Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Vasquez received her medical degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Stanford University Medical Center . To complement her medical background, Dr. Vasquez earned an MBA from Golden Gate University and she completed a Coro Foundation Community Fellowship.

David B. Hansen, MBA, MA

Mr. Hansen has aided health industry firms such as Kaiser Permanente, John Muir-Mt. Diablo Health System, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Trigon to effectively link IT plans to strategies, assess new products and services, target new markets, focus business strategies, and change their organizations. On behalf of IT Optimizers®, SRI International, and the Institute for the Future, he has scanned the health IT market for cutting-edge developments. His advice during more than 15 years as a consultant has also benefited firms beyond health, spanning industries from broadcasting to electronics and government research to B2C Internet sales. Mr. Hansen has facilitated change processes in organizations across all levels, from boards of directors to front-line providers. Mr. Hansen lectures in Economics and Business at the University of San Francisco . Mr. Hansen recent writings include “Raising Health Care’s Organizational IQ,” published in Health Forum Journal. He earned an MBA from the Haas School of Business, University of California , Berkeley and holds Economics degrees from University of California and University of Bergen , Norway.

Mr. Danzig brings his communication expertise to change projects that require careful crafting of internal and external messages.  He has been National Public and Media Relations Director for Kaiser Permanente, Corporate Communications & Public Affairs Director for The Clorox Company and a Senior Associate with Lewis & Summers Public Relations. As a consultant, Mr. Danzig has enhanced communication programs for clients such as the California HealthCare Foundation, The Health Technology Center (HealthTech), Telecare Corporation, Kaiser Permanente and Cottage Health System.
